i'm new on the forum, with english from France (sud ouest !)
Sorry, i think this problem is not new but for me is still a problem.
I install zabix under debian testing, work very well with notification and remote command in a windows server environnement.
But i have still the message on the frontend : server is no running.
The permissions for the pid file is OK (777).
An idea Please ?
Version of zabbix (install with apt-get) 1.8.2

SOLUTION :
my install was made with a dhcp option, after i modify to use fix IP.
I have modify a lot of parametres but i forgot to verify in /etc/zabbix/dbconfig.php the adress server !!
Now it's OK
