I've just set up a new server running zabbix 1.8.6 and I'm not able to get scripts (ping/traceroute) working.
When I try to execute a script from the front-end (e.g. ping) a window with the following content opens:
ERROR: SCRIPT ERROR
* Error Description: Empty response received
Searching the forum didn't help and I can't find any clues in zabbix_server.log nor with DebugLevel=4
Perhaps I don't see the wood for the trees...
