I currently have a Win 7 machine with ubuntu running in VirtualBox. In ubuntu I have zabbix 1.8.3 running with only 1 issue, I cannot monitor the win 7 host. I can telnet to the host on port 10050, however zabbix displays 'Get value from agent failed: Cannot connect to [10.xx.xx.xxx:10050] [Interrupted system call]'. I have tried many different solutions offered on different boards, but still no success. Any ideas would greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.

issue resolved. ip address used for host was incorrect.
