I am running Zabbix 1.8.11 successfully on Ubuntu 12.04 with no problem.
Then I virtualized a Ubuntu server on HyperV. I installed Ubuntu 12.04 as well as the Zabbix packages. I had problem with the database but I solved it by dumping all my data from ubuntu1 and restoring it to ubuntu2.
Zabbix interface now works well on ubuntu2. Ubuntu1 is still monitoring servers and working fine. I changed the zabbix_agentd.conf file on server1 to allow ubuntu2 to query it but I still cannot see any value from the monitored servers. zabbix_server is running. Cannot be a firewall issue: server1 is on the same network. There is no software firewall on the server either.
What have I missed?
