Zabbix web front end blank, but still working

Hi have been running Zabbix for a few weeks now monitoring 3 hosts. 2 On the same LAN, one VPS remotely. It has been working well, I configured many custom checks and triggers.

Last night I got flooded with emails - each server going up and down with Zabbix agent xx is unreachable for 1 minute, then a minute later it is back, but for all my monitored hosts. This stopped after restarting the zabbix server.

Confirming pings and holding telnet open to the zabbix ports shows that network connectivity is not the issue.

I went to check the web front end - nothing shows. No hosts, triggers, templates etc - nothing, almost like a new blank install. But I am still getting emailed notifications and zabbix picks up on new events that I can trigger, but I can't see them!

I confirmed the Mysql data is still there - I can see the events table for instance, as well as all the triggers, but the web front end doesn't show anything.

I checked the Zabbix server log, but it looks clean - it just loads up without any error.

I have restarted Apache, zabbix, etc - but does anyone have any idea what's going on?! I am running version 2.0.1
