Can someone explain or point to a thourough explaination of how the active agent works? Specifically:
Does it cache the item list it's responsible for?
Approximately how many items can it handle?
When/how does the item list get updated?
I've added a new item to the items monitored by the active agent, but its not being updated along with the previous items. Do I need to restart the zabbix agent for force it to get the updated item list? Or will it pick it up on its own somehow? Or is there a trigger to force the agent to update the list of items its supposed to track?
