There a bug in the Zabbix 2.0.3 VMWare appliance, based on OpenSuse Studio.
Network configuration is very hard to save... and when network service is restarted, it makes an ifup eth0, and then ifdown eth0.
By running zypper update, the problem gets fixed once updated.
I just hope that this had no impact on the preinstalled zabbix.
