I'm monitoring some ppp links on linux hosts with active agents from zabbix agent 1.1 debian packages provided by http://mirror.opf.slu.cz/zabbix. This works perfectly but the ppp links fail from time to time and are then shutdown and restarted. This is not a problem but the zabbix active agent does not handle this and the items from the ppp link are put to "Not Supported" and don't change status anymore. Even the "refresh unsupported items" option doesn't help. The only workaround is to manually activate the items again.
