Can not get email to work

I cannot get Zabbix to email with our Exchange 2003 servers. I have the follow setup for the email media type. I also have the media added to the user.

SMTP server: xxxx.xxxx.local
SMTP helo: xxxx.xxxx.local
SMTP email: [email protected]

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
