Hi,
OK, I know it is a template from Zabbix.org, but I would like a bit of help on editing the Cisco catalyst template so that it doesn't treat all ports that are down as a problem. I don't use all 52 ports on my switch and even if they are disabled administratively they are still flagged as a problem by the Zabbix template.
At the moment any port that is down is flagged as problem, ideally what I want to flag is the change of a port status as being the problem, perferably with a 24 hour timeout before its reset to OK. What I want to catch is a port going down then up, new devices being plugged in or devices being removed/failing.
Any ideas on what I need to do to change the template?
Thanks
Paul
