I have been troubleshooting off and on today trying to get the vmware collector to start, I deployed the Zabbix 3.4 Appliance for VMware (the vmdk). For the life of my I can not get the vmware collector process to start, I have added "StartVMwareCollectors=5" to the zabbix_server.conf file , restarted the service, added the host, added the VMware templates, added the macro's for URL, username, password , and I have rebooted the appliance and yet when I check the discovery I get "no "vmware collector" process started".
Anyone have any insight?
