I would like to achieve that all triggers defined in the Template OS Windows are dependend of the trigger defined in Template ICMP Ping ( {HOST.NAME} is unavailable by ICMP ). It's mentioned here: https://www.zabbix.com/documentation...s/dependencies
By this configuration I'm expect to achieve that the system generates less notifications. For example if a windows system is rebooting and it takes a little bit more time than usual Zabbix is generating me a lot of emails - for every trigger a correspondant email, right ? My goal is that Zabbix sents me just one notfification (unavailable by icmp) and later may be the notification that the system has been restarted.
When I try to setup the configuration above I'm getting:
ERROR: Cannot update trigger
Updated: Trigger "Processor usage > 95% for 10 minutes" on "Template OS Windows".
Updated: Trigger "Processor usage > 95% for 10 minutes" on "File Server".
Updated: Trigger "Processor usage > 95% for 10 minutes" on "VMware View Connection Server".
Updated: Trigger "Processor usage > 95% for 10 minutes" on "Print Server".
Updated: Trigger "Processor usage > 95% for 10 minutes" on "Domain Controller".
Any hints or suggestions ?
