Here is the deal, I've installed Zabbix server and it's working just fine. I compiled JavaGateway, edited settings.sh and it's up and running.
I also edited zabbix_server.conf and set the JavaGateway variable/port and the java pollers.
When I added the item zabbix[java,,ping] I get this error "JavaGateway configuration parameter not set or empty". My JMX items are all in the queue, which I guess is normal since for Zabbix server there is no JavaGateway.
Any help would be appreciated!
