HTTP Agent permission denied

Hello Zabbix community! Shiny new Zabbixer here.

I have a process running on a remote machine I want to collect a JSON from (and eventually make dependent items). I can run curl 10.10.0.142:10054/stats from my Zabbix server and receive the information just fine, but can't get the HTTP Agent to work. I get the following error.



I'm unsure why the connection fails. the ports are open, the ip is white listed and the curl call works. What am i missing?

I couldn't find another post related to this (maybe my search skill is too low) so any direction or assistance is much appreciated.
