    Problem with net.tcp.service.per

    Hey,

i'm using the item net.tcp.service.perf to monitor the time of the connection to specific servers.

if there is no connection to the service (0 or nodata) or the connection time to the service is bigger then what i conifcugred, a trigger will be created.

i have noticed that when ever a connection can't be extablished to the monitored host adrees & port, my agent triggers the " is unreachable for 5 minutes" problem.

this is a problem since, if there is no connection to a specific service, of course i dont want my agent to become unreachable.

    how cani solve this problem?

    Thanks.Hey,

I'm using the item net.tcp.service.perf to monitor the time of the connection to specific services.

if there is no connection to the service (0 or nodata) or the connection time to the service is bigger then what I configured, a trigger will be created.

I have noticed that whenever a connection can't be established to the monitored host address & port, the agent of the server whice prefroms the triggers the net.tcp.service.perf item becomes" unreachable for 5 minutes".

this is a problem since, if there is no connection to a specific service, of course I don't want my agent to become unreachable.

how can I solve this problem?

    Thanks.
