I have a zabbix proxy monitoring several network devices with SNMPv2.
On the proxy i monitor: 60 hosts by snmpv2 and 180 hosts by zabbix agent active.
I never had problems, but i tried to change the version of snmp from V2 to V3.
Since i started to change the hosts from on template to the other i constantly have several erros on logs and the hosts get "blocked". On zabbix_proxy log file:
" SNMP agent item "" on host "" failed: first network error, wait for 15 seconds
"temporarily disabling SNMP agent checks on host " ": host unavailable"
"enabling SNMP agent checks on host " ": host became available"
I never have problems collecting data from snmpwalk/snmpget.
On SNMPv3 i'm using:
Authentication protocol - SHA
Privacy protocol - AES
I'm running Zabbix Version 4.2.2 on Server and on Proxy.
Server and Proxy: CentOS-7
Any Help?
