Hi Everyone after a little help trying to sort out an issue I've got.
Running 2.2.4 on the server, 2.2.3 on the proxy.
I've got a few machines being monitored by the proxy (on site) that in Microsoft Azure.
I have a perfmon item for total CPU time. This seems to work fine, without any gaps in data on all servers apart from two 2012 servers with SQL on them. All the other servers are 2012 R2.
On the two 2012 SQL servers, there are periods of time where there is no data for the cpu time, the other items continue to be monitored during this time. Zabbix reports that the item is not supported by the agent. but after say 15 minutes, it reports data again.
I have tried upping the timeout settings on the proxy and the agent config on these two servers, I have also updated the agents to 2.2.5 from the older 2.0 version I was running earlier.
Getting the proxy and the server at the same version is next on my list but I don't think it will help.
Is anyone running zabbix in azure and having any similar issues? The standard CPU util item also seems to have difficulty, but not others. When there is no data reported I can ping and connect to the machine concerned?
I've checked the logs on the proxy and they do not seem to offer an apparent issue, perhaps I need to set debug on?
