I am trying to create an action to send an email to our helpdesk system.
Since zabbix doesn't appear to allow arbitrary email destinations, so I have created a new user with my helpdesk@ email address.
So far,l so good.
I have now created a new group for "helpdesk" and (for the sake of troubleshooting) I have granted the helpdesk group read-write permissions on all groups.
When I try to configure an action to send an email, I can only get zabbix to show me the zabbixadmins group or group members.
If I add my helpdesk user to the zabbixadmins group, it shows up fine. Really this user is just a placeholder for an email address, so I would like to keep permissions to a minimum.
How can I get zabbix to send email to another group?
