Good Afternoon,
We had an ESXI with a broken hard drive. We replaced the drive but some serial number switching occurred. For example, disk 1 was replaced. Disk 2 and 3 also recalculated serial numbers. Disk 3 ended up with disk 1 old serial number but we did not replace disk 3. This is likely on the Zabbix side, because ESXI has no record of serial number swaps. Are we supposed to trust everything else in our environment? Any ideas on why this would occur?
