Zabbix Windows Service (Process) Monitoring Problem using Service.info

    Dear all,

I tried to monitor service monitoring for ex. Spooler. I have used service.info[Spooler].

1st situation: I manually start/stop the service, and zabbix was able to detect it.

2nd situation: I shutdown the server in where we are monitoring the service. Unfortunately zabbix did not detect that the service went down.

3rd situation: I tried to stop the Spooler service while the server is on. Then I restart the server. Since the service is set to automatically start, it goes up together with the server which zabbix was able to detect.

My only problem is the 2nd situation, which zabbix cannot detect when the server is down. I want to be notified also when the service is down.

I also tried using proc.num[Spooler.exe] and it has a different case.

Everything was ok except when I start the server, even the service is up there will be no alerts from zabbix since using proc.num needs someone to login to the server before the service will be detected and have an alert on zabbix.

    Basically,
service.info[Spooler] - can detect all service except when server is shutdown. No service alert is detected that it goes down.
proc.num[Spooler.exe] - can detect all service except when the server goes up. Needs someone to login before there will be a service alert.

I want to detect all service alerts when server is shutdown/starts. I hope you can help me with this one. Thank you very much.
