I noticed that "host status" only work well on win32, in combination with "agent.ping". When a host is not pingable, I get no update's of the host status.
My problem is that (modern) ADSL modems sometimes do not accept ICMP or ping, so the customer is not pingable, and I cannot fix it, before I buy new modems for them.
Is there a "software" workaround for it?
