Zabbix Server 5.0 on Ubuntu 20.04 will not receive any data from Win 10 external VM
Hi Everyone,
I have recently started using the Zabbix server, I have built some labs to test that everything works well before I will set it to production on my company’s network, but I have a problem with my external Windows 10 machine on my VMware Workstation.
I have an active Zabbix agent version 5.0.6 working on my Windows 10 machine that is set to communicate with the server.
When I check for the latest data received from my agent on my Zabbix server I can see only the memory information of my machine and nothing else.
I can send a ping to my Zabbix server from my Win10 but cannot telnet to his IP address,
From my Zabbix server, I cannot send ping or telnet to the Win10 but to other labs, everything runs smoothly.
I have tried to turn off the firewalls to see maybe there is any rule that blocks the machines from communicating but even when they are turned off, I cannot communicate with the machine from the server or the other way around. (regardless of the ping from my Win10)
