First things first, apologies if this is a silly question but I am extremely new to Zabbix (installed today).
I have been testing monitoring a device, in this instance an Asustor Nas drive via SNMP. I am using Template SNMP Asustor NAS.
This managed to find the hardware and associated metrics ands was working fine for a while. After a while SNMP stopped working on the NAS drive (of course I need to investigate why), when this happened of course the metrics could not be retrieved. After a bit of searching I found the following:
What I found concerning is the fact that I found the metrics were no longer being retrieved by accident. This did not alert at all.
Is this expected behaviour? can it be changed somewhere in configuration?
