zabbix webpage stuck after trapper process keep reach 100%
OS : RHEL 6.5
zabbix : 3.4.7
db : mysql 15.1, 5.5.58 mariadb
mode : passive check
network : dark site (cant use yum)
no proxy
The problem occurred after changing the poller value of zabbix and restarting zabbix_server.
1. Web Monitoring Failed (couldnt resolve host name : name lookup time out)
2. Trapper process reaches 100% nonstop - (ps -ef check,
3. and then zabbix webpage down ( zabbix servier is not running : the information displayer may not be current)
I tried to restart zabbix_server after returning the value of poller, but the problem was not fixed.
I've read zabbix form and a lot of articles, but as a result, I couldn't solve the problem. However, there is a suspicion.
Current situation for problem solving
1. firewall off
2. selinux disable
3. server, agent conf is default
Suspicious logs and situations
1. why trapper process keep reach 100% ( in ps -ef, trapper processing data stuck )
2. I don't know mysql well, but I don't think db is doing the query properly.
3. active check configuration zabbix server ip:10051 started to fail ( ZBX_TCP_READ() timed out) but all port is open
4. locale is broken. i dont know why
5. su - other user is not available. I don't know why. This is the first time.
I don't know where the problem started. I simply restarted zabbix_server, and all the problems occurred.
I haven't rebooted the actual server yet. Would it be helpful to reboot the server?
