Zabbix slow an high IO

Hello,

I have since a couple of months for my feeling a slow Zabbix server. and i can't check wich process it is.

I have 554 hosts with 69067 items.

8 cores CPU
16 GB memory
en SSD's in RAID10 on ZFS.

But if i check the disk IO they is very high! 80 to 100M disk write! this is exremely high compare with other servers.

Also i see more items in the Queue with more than 10 minutes.

What can i do? is this normal the IO? Is there tuning options?
