I have been running Zabbix for a few years now monitoring a FireBrick router via SNMP v2c, and all has been working well.
That is until this evening
I have been working to resolve a few monitoring issues on some servers and tidying up in general, when I noticed that the bandwidth usage graph for the FireBrick was flatlining at 10Mbps. At 1st I thought it was possibly some rogue host, but when checking the graphs for the router I saw that it was actually a hole in the captured data. Looking at the latest values, I can see that SOME are updating properly but all the interface values have last updated time of several hours. I have not touched anything to do with SNMP this evening, and using snmpwalk, and also test via the Zabbix web UI I am getting values back from the router from the host running zabbix and zabbix itself. It just seems to be ignoring all the interface items.
I have tried rebooting, stopping and starting Zabbix, re-adding the router as a new host (it doesn't pickup ANY interfaces as a fresh device entry, just basic system values). Updating the version of Zabbix to the latest (6.0.15-1 server on ubuntu).
Any ideas greatly appreciated.
