Open any host, place your mouse in any field, press enter, it reloads the page and the url will be changed to host.php without ?and its hostid vaues.
If you press update, templates will be unlinked.
Nothing gets deleted, you can re-link template again and it'll be fine.
If you accidenly hit enter and go un-noticed that page refreshed, and change other values and update it, it'll all be unlinked. You won't notice unless you check Details.
I think the items will go bad, say no permission or no such objects if the template isn't linked back sooner. I'm not sure if it does this, but I've noticed many items where the main templates were deleted but the items were all there and collecting data, I just couldn't open the items anymore. Same thing happened when I disabled LLD and all SNMP devices items were unable to open after few days of disabling, the templates were there for SNMP devices. I tried unlink and re-link it back, dint' help. I had to delete all items and triggers and let LLD update the create items again.
