Using discovery to create hosts and then delete discovery?
Can I create a Discovery rule just to scan the subnet and the action is to add the new hosts and link templates. Once that is done, can I delete the discovery rules and actions? Will zabbix continue monitoring those discovered hosts forever without the discovery rules anymore? I fear items, triggers, graphs will be inaccessible but data will be collected. Has anyone tried this?
