Appliance 3.0.4 - Action configuration does not "act"
Hello we have deployed a virtual zabbix 3.0.4 appliance and filled it with quite high number of hosts (204), items (14000) and triggers enabled 3994. after teaking the pinger processes and cache parameters as suggested by zabbix alerts, everything is working pretty well and we are very satisfied of the result.
however we are struggling on configuring actions (in the specific email messages). we have configured the media type correctly and user with correct email etc.. testing an email send from within the ubuntu appliance it does work.
however when we moved to configure > actions, we found some issues.
basically, whichever action we try to configure and enable (from the preconfigured administrator alerts to a simple "Trigger value = PROBLEM" then send email message to users) if the right trigger acts, the action seems not to have any effect. we cannot see any action associated in the monitoring > event console, and clickling on the related event does not show any messaging action. we tried to restart the appliance but without success.
this is the only point really limiting us to a definitive use of zabbix.
what could we try to identifiy the issue ?
