I am new to monitoring Apache, so I hope I do not ask any newbie questions. Apologies if I do.
I have been playing around with the Apache agent and Apache HTTP templates. I have questions on both that I am hoping someone could help guide me on. Here we go:
1) Apache agent template: I am noticing a few JSON error conditions where it seems no data matches the specified path: Failed: cannot extract value from json by path "$["Total kBytes"]": no data matches the specified path. Does this mean that there is no data or that the path is different than where the template is looking for the data?
2) Apache HTTP template: I tested the agent template first and changed the port to 7080 and left it HTTP. I was able to get data. When I use the same parameters with the HTTP template it tells me Cannot perform request: Failed to connect to 172.24.16.4 port 7080 after 39 ms: No route to host. This is impossible since I was able to get data from the Apache agent template with the same server and port. Am I missing something?
