Zabbix Server "swapping" data
Hello,
I recently assisted in upgrading a Zabbix server from 5.4 to 7.0 in November of this year, but about 3 months ago have been experiencing an issue that causes data in the Zabbix GUI to swap between an "original" and "new", with each version not saving changes between the two.
After moving some hosts to new templates, I noticed that after a few weeks those hosts had become assigned back to the templates that I had originally changed, as well as user data reverting to what it was before the swap, resulting in users passwords failing and requiring resets.
I have looked at the zabbix audit logs, server logs, and database logs but cannot find any evidence of this issue occurring beyond seeing data be different from week to week due to the hosts swapping templates back and forth, as well as from users reaching out about failed logins shortly after their passwords were reset.
This is causing data pulled from month to month to be incomplete, as data is being collected on one template for part of the month, then the other template for the other part of the month, with no way to combine the data into a complete view.
