Hello,
I want to monitor the HDD of a Windows server using SMART.
I use Zabbix 3.2 on CentOS 7.
I installed smartmontools on the Windows server, and configured the PS applications and the template as described here :
When launching a query (zabbix_get -s url.of.the.server -k uHDD.discovery) from the Zabbix server, I receive the correct answer.
But, the data collected does not appear in the Items list of the Host.
The template_HDD_SMARTMONTOOLS_2_WITH_LDD provides only "Item prototypes". Why "prototypes" ?
But how can I obtain their values ?
How can I monitor SMART parameters (PowerOnHours, Temperature, UDMA_CRC_Error...) and trigger alerts using this template ?
Thanks in advance for your help.
