I currently have the snmptrapd program running using zabbix_sender piece with triggers setup to capture servers/devices sending me snmp traps. This is working great, but I am trying to figure out how to, in addition to receiving triggers, actually have the data saved as an item so I can view stats on it later. Instead of setting zabbix to poll an snmp device and store values, is there a way I can receive snmp traps and store those as items?
