Hello,
I know there are some interesting quirks with the Win32 agent and Eventlog collections, but I am having a new problem.
Old entries that were in the Zabbix database seem to keep coming back from somewhere. I cleared the eventlogs on the windows host (to verify that they're not coming from there) restarted the Zabbix Agent service, and then chose to Clean the History of the eventlog[Application] Item I created for this host. I can see the history_log table being emptied out (this is the only host I am collecting eventlogs for), and on the front end, they're gone after the history is cleaned.
A short time later, all the entries that were in the history_log table come back, and any triggers I have set on this item execute again as if the entries are newly being created. Is there somewhere else in the database that they're being stored, and it's not getting cleared?
I want to hold off on trying to utilize the eventlog capturing for now, but would like these entries permanently removed if possible...
I'm running both 1.1.6 for the Win32 Agent and the Zabbix Server.
