I have Fedora Core 6 with php 5.1.6, mysql 5.0.27 and zabbix 1.1.6.
No matter how I configure $DB_USER and $DB_PASSWORD in db.inc.php and
DBUser and DBPassword in zabbix_server.conf I get the same message from the browser:Error connecting to database [Access denied for user 'apache'@localhost' (using password:NO).
I setup rights on mysql and flushed_privileges OK. I can connect with apache, zabbix or root ID on mysql shell - no problem.
I tried to access a zabbix monitoring using different browsers from different machines and cleared a cache etc. to no avail.
What am I missing ?
