zabbix_server make error, won't create
I am trying to configure zabbix on a new install of Red Hat 9. MySQL is installed an running and I am able to connect to it using the web interface for zabbix but cannot get the zabbix_server to make. From other threads I have made sure that zlib-devel & openssl-devel are installed.
MySQL Version 3.23.54
Zabbix Version 1.1alpha6
Kernal version 2.4.20-8
I am the biggest newb you probably will ever have to deal with as far as linux and its software. I am very excited that I even got this far, previous attempts have left me

Any help would be great I would have posted my make output but as much of a newb that I am I don't know how to tell it to output it to a file I tried to copy it from the terminal window but all doesn't show.
