Can't set up a ppp0 monitoring

Hi there... i have a trouble in how to setp up ppp0 monitoring graph...i've done with the local interface eth0 but i can find in list any of ppp0.

i have a such environment
eth0(local network)
eth1(connected directly to adsl modem)
ppp0(connection to my isp)

i need to monitor exactly ppp0 coz i have non-stable connection(it reconnects few times of an hour) so monitoring of eth1 is not what i need.

What can i do to add ppp0 into my list of possibilities?
