Hello,
from time to time i have several host which seems to be offline.
then i get my e-mail from zabbix that reports the server or host is offline.
I had this same error this morning but i was at that time also working with remote administrator on that server so there is no way that it was offline.
the check is a simple ping done with fping.
i could also ping to that server and fping was also ok so i guess it was just a minimal packet loss.
so, the only thing i think that could be a solution is to adjust the timeout in fping, but how do i do that together with zabbix ?
for the rest, our network works fine and i have no other issues.
all network equipment is cisco and i monitor about 250 hosts with zabbix 1.1.6.
best regards,
Verus.
