I have actions setup based on the group to alert me with recurring pages when a trigger is set to on. There have been a couple times now when the trigger switches state, I see in the events section that the trigger state changed, but I don't see anything register in the actions section. however when the issue is fixed, the trigger gets flipped back to off, an event is generated, and I see the action.
I am using zabbix 1.1.4, and the trigger I have is for server is unreachable, checking the status.last(0) = 2.
Also, with the recurring messages I receive, if I log in and acknowledge the trigger, the messages don't stop. The only way for them to stop is to hit the max threshold of recurring messages I specified, or for the trigger state to change back. I have tried to disable the trigger when this happens to stop the messages, and even disabled monitoring of the host, but none of these fix it.
Does anyone have any assistance they could shed on this issue, or other solutions that are working to have a reliable paging system?
