Hello all
I have a little problem with mail notification :
Used Products :
OS : RedHad EL4
With compilled zabbix from 1.4.4. sources
With Mysql mysql-5.0.37
With PHP : php-5.2.1
With Postfix : postfix-2.4.6
install type : Distributed monitoring used with 3 sub-nodes
Tests :
mail relay tested with zabbix account and working ( mail send an receive ) Result : [ OK ]
created a dummy( or not ) trigger to send mail notifications Result : [ KO ]
Checks :
No log in postfix log file ( just ou logged try with command line mail sending and other applications like cron ....)
In PHP interface we see mail sending with this error
"2008.Mar.10 17:34:51 Mail not sent 3 " and error column is empty ...
Questions :
I have see there a patch for action.c . I think he is already included i our sources 1.4.4 ? is it true ? ( source thread of information : http://www.zabbix.com/forum/showthre...highlight=mail )
In distributed mode who send the mails ? MAster nodes or relay nodes ?
and if is the relay Nodes can we configure zabbix to only use master node to send messages ?
Thanks by advance four our responses
