Hello, I have ran across several threads and was under the impression that in order to graph bandwidth stats collected from switches in 'bps' which report in octects/sec that I needed to set a custom multiplier of 8 and set units to 'bps'. I'm looking at some bandwidth graphs created by some cisco switches using the custom multiplier of 8 and units set to 'bps' and the graph is showing 20gbps when the interfaces are only gigabit interfaces.
Can someone please shed some light on this? If I use a conversion calculator it says to go from 1 byte to 1 bit I should be multiplying the 1 byte by 0.125.
Thanks!
