Bytes to Bits bandwidth conversion question

Hello, I have ran across several threads and was under the impression that in order to graph bandwidth stats collected from switches in 'bps' which report in octects/sec that I needed to set a custom multiplier of 8 and set units to 'bps'. I'm looking at some bandwidth graphs created by some cisco switches using the custom multiplier of 8 and units set to 'bps' and the graph is showing 20gbps when the interfaces are only gigabit interfaces.

Can someone please shed some light on this? If I use a conversion calculator it says to go from 1 byte to 1 bit I should be multiplying the 1 byte by 0.125.

    Thanks!

Whoops... Totally missed it being set to "As is". Changed it to speed per second like the rest of my templates and it seems correct now. Sorry to waste your time Richlv
