hola, soy nueva en ubuntu 9.10 y zabbix 1.8, he logrado instalar zabbix 1.8 siguiento este tutorial: http://www.zabbix.com/wiki/howto/ins.../ubuntuinstall , estaba aun aprendiento a monitorear con el cuando aparecio el siguiente mensaje: zabbix- server is runing NO.
por la terminal coloque:
# sudo /etc/init.d/zabbix-server start
Starting Zabbix server daemon: zabbix_server
y luego:
#sudo /etc/init.d/zabbix-server restart
Stopping Zabbix server daemon: zabbix_server
No /usr/sbin/zabbix_server found running; none killed.
y con :
# ps -aux | grep zabbix
