/: Disk space is low (used > 80%)

    Salut,

/ is the "default" filesystem on Linux. Anything not in a separate filesystem is in /. As root on the server, cd to /, then run du -sh * to see what directories are using space, say /var is the largest, cd to /var and repeat the du -sh * command until you find the culprit.

Systems are configured with different filesystems, "df -th" will show the various filesystems and their space use. Sometimes /var/lib/mysql is not in it's own filesystem, so it is part of /. Zabbix will lld all filesystems for monitoring that pass the lld filters, for example it won't monitor tmpfs filesystems, but will ext4, xfs etc.

Guessing, what is your OS patch interval? If it corresponds to this problem, it can be new modules, logs etc. Does it clear itself or do you have to take manual action?

This is more of a "general admin" question, not necessarily Zabbix only.
