    Veeam Template "the specified channel could not be found"

    Hello everyone,

    I was testing veeam template for event log. After successfull importing, there are errors in items section. Is enybody face this issue?

    2022/04/12 11:24:58.011063 cannot open eventlog 'Veeam Agent'
    2022/04/12 11:24:58.011600 check 'eventlog[Veeam Agent,,,Veeam Agent,190,,skip]' is not supported: EvtQuery channel missed:[0x00003A9F] The specified channel could not be found.
    2022/04/12 11:24:59.018540 cannot open eventlog 'Veeam Agent'
    2022/04/12 11:24:59.019116 check 'eventlog[Veeam Agent,,,Veeam Agent,191,,skip]' is not supported: EvtQuery channel missed:[0x00003A9F] The specified channel could not be found.
    2022/04/12 11:25:00.012278 cannot open eventlog 'Veeam Agent'
    2022/04/12 11:25:00.012477 check 'eventlog[Veeam Agent,,,Veeam Agent,195,,skip]' is not supported: EvtQuery channel missed:[0x00003A9F] The specified channel could not be found.

    Hello, I have solved this problem.

    First, you need to review the Parameters of the eventlog key: https://www.zabbix.com/documentation...ys?hl=EventLog

    Specially: name and source, you neet to check event viewer in your windows server and review this parameters.
    In my case for the 190 ID, the name is Veaam Backup and source is Veeam MP.

    After that, you must change the items (key) in the default VEEAM-Agents template:

    For:
    eventlog[Veeam Agent,,,Veeam Agent,190,,skip]
    to:
    eventlog[Veeam Backup,,,Veeam MP,190,,skip]

    Thats all

            Thanks, Thanks, I lost all my hair with zabbix and VEEAM !
            You save the rest !

            i add eventlog[Veeam Backup,,,Veeam MP,790,,skip] to see agent activity in the same eventslog
