    Can't get Agent2 to install on Debian 12 x64

I have a clean new install of Debian 12 (no GUI). I've followed instructions on the installation page: https://www.zabbix.com/download?zabb...gent_2&db=&ws=
Note that for now I have not changed the /etc/zabbix/zabbix-agent2.conf file.

But after starting the agent2 service it fails. No log file is written. The folder /var/log/zabbix is present and owned by the user zabbix. What am I missing?

I would consider this as a bug, if agent fails to start up just because defautl config includes a plugin that fails to start up... At least there is one bugreport on error reporting for that.. https://support.zabbix.com/browse/ZBXNEXT-9710

OK. I managed to solve this myself. For me the issue was that the default (7.2) installation of agent2 includes a conf for nvidia and if you don't have that, it bombs. So to solve:

      nano /etc/zabbix/zabbix_agent2.d/plugins.d/nvidia.conf

And then edit out the only active line in that file.
