problem installing zabbix

I Have been trying to install the version 1.4 and 1.6 but always get the same mistake, at the end I get an error message indicating that the database is corrupted and has not found the users table. When I review the structure of the database It always has no tables always it's empty. What can I do or what are the proper installation step ?. Thanks a lot any help

Have you followed the Manual instructions?

You probably skipped the DB population scripts.
