Add a new language into Zabbix frontend

Dear all,

I want to add a new language (Vietnamese) to Zabbix frontend.
I have a translated po file. But I don't know how to add po file to Zabbix frontend.

Can anyone teach me to add a new language to Zabbix frontend.

hi and thanks for your interest in zabbix.

if you would like to have the translation to be included in zabbix, please follow the steps at https://www.zabbix.org/wiki/Translat...ating_frontend - then you would gain permissions in pootle and upload the po file.

vietnamese locale was recently added in zabbix, but there was not that much interest in creating the translation...

I read your recommendation, but I wonder there is another way which I can add po file to zabbix frontend offline for testing. If this is impossible, I must to ask my boss to gain permission to share po file.

sure, that is possible. you have to compile the po file into a mo file, then modify the locales file for vietnamese to show up
