Screen Items Error with https

Hi guys,

I try to add an URL item in Screens, but it seems that it's not working with https.

I have tried with http, and it's ok, but with all https it's ko.

Do you have an idea on how I can solve this?

The documentation indicates HTTPS simple checks were implemented since version 2.0 (https://www.zabbix.com/documentation.../simple_checks)

What gives?

I've been trying to figure out how Zabbix monitors https sites which use certs for authentication. From reading forum posts it seems that curl is used somehow? I'd be very grateful if someone had a brief cookbook on how to get this up and running in Zabbix?
