Screen Items Error with https

Hi guys,

I try to add an URL item in Screens, but it seems that it's not working with https.

I have tried with http, and it's ok, but with all https it's ko.

Do you have an idea on how I can solve this?

PS: Zabbix version are:
ii zabbix-agent 1:2.2.3-1+precise i386 network monitoring solution - agent
ii zabbix-frontend-php 1:2.2.3-1+precise all network monitoring solution - PHP front-end
ii zabbix-release 2.2-1+precise all Zabbix official repository configuration
ii zabbix-server-mysql 1:2.2.3-1+precise i386 network monitoring solution - server (using MySQL)

Can you open your https website on browser without any problems?
Does your Zabbix frontend show you any errors when you preview your screen?

I just checked my screens, I can add https website and it is showing up correctly.

There is no error.
Just a blank screen without nothing...
If I try with https://www.google.com, it's the same... Blank screen.

And when I try to reach directly the https page I want to use, it's working like a charm.

Yes, it is really strange.

I tried this as well in my test system and encountered the same problem. I can't find the solution yet but there is one thing I noticed - when you enter https://www.google.com/ in your browser, you get redirected to different URL, in your case it could be https://www.google.fr plus some parameters.

I suppose that Zabbix cannot handle that but I don't know the workaround for this.

Were you ever able to get this resolved or does anyone else have any input?

I want to be able to throw page from Google into the screen, specifically an agenda page from Google Calendar. I have another https page working on my screen, but anything Google, the calendar or just www.google.com as Libfy mentioned, doesn't work.
